Sites to Feed your Reader

Page history last edited by maohalloran@uas.alaska.edu 11 mos ago

Visit these sites and if you find them interesting you can add their RSS feed to your reader.

Look for a link that says RSS or XML

or buttons like these:

or a link that says "feedburner" or "Posts (atom)".

These are typically located at the top, in columns along the side, or at the bottom of the page. Click on the button or link and add a feed to your google reader.  (Sometimes the orange logo above is also used for an incoming RSS feed so nothing happens when you click on it - keep looking for another link or button)

After you click on an appropriate link or button - you should see something like this

(1)   or this (2)

(1) choose Google as your Reader and click Subscribe Now or (2) click on the +Google button

If you can't find the link to the feed or don't understand the instructions after you click on the link or button, you can copy the URL (web address) of the site and use the "Add Subscription" button  within Google Reader.

I like the list (added only lifehacker)-- I think it is good not to overwhelm; they can always do a search for others, political, humor and otherwise plus edublog will give them lots and lots if they want. I think it's a wrap. KB
